Daniel Radcliffe and the cast and crew of
Kill Your Darlings attending the New York City premiere of the drama on Monday evening at the Paris Theater. SnitchSeeker was on hand at the event and got the chance to ask Dan about his thoughts on the upcoming
Harry Potter theme parks being built at
Universal Studios, and his second voice over role for
The Simpsons, to broadcast later this season.
SnitchSeeker also got a quick word with Dan's
Kill Your Darlings costar Dane DeHaan, who plays Lucien Carr, on-screen love interest to Dan's Allen Ginsberg. DeHaan revealed some advice he received from Dan about breaking out into a large franchise, as he will star in the second
Spider-Man movie as character Harry Osborn.
SnitchSeeker: Did you get any tips or advice from Dan about how to deal with being in a franchise?
Dane DeHaan: Honestly, no. All he said to me is that I'll do just fine and more people will recognize me on the street. But other than that he thinks I can handle it.
SnitchSeeker: Are you afraid/worried about the fanbase?
Dane DeHaan: Oh, no, not at all. I understand that's a part of it and that's why I do it, why I'm able to do what I do. I love them.
Prior to the screening, Dan began U.S. promotions for
Kill Your Darlings Monday morning on NBC's TODAY Show, viewable below.
Kill Your Darlings will hit select theaters beginning October 16.
