Though she did find it to be ridiculous to have to walk all the way down from Ravenclaw tower to the Great Hall for breakfast then all the way back up to the sixth floor for class. Far too much walking for this time of day, but she made it and on time in her freshly pressed uniform.

As she walked in, the first thing she noticed was the woman standing near the board. The sixteen year old got the feeling that she was rather strict and she gave her a small smile in greeting as she passed. "Good morning, Professor." Then her eyes fell on the blackboard. That was.. nice. Looking back at the professor again, she gave her a small nod then turned to find a seat.

Er.. why was everyone standing next to their desks? Claudette found that to be an odd thing, but figured it was some sort of protocol for the room and/or teacher and decided to just go along with it. Choosing an empty desk, the blonde stood beside the seat and waited for instructions.. or something.
"Good morning." She didn't know the student, otherwise that greeting would have a name attached to it. Quite a few transfer students came in this term apparently. It was very very strange to her indeed.

Not that lerning couldn't be fun. She was excited for this lesson to begin.
"Good morning Miss Gallaway." Now this one she knew quite well and would apparently be seeing more of if the girl proved that she was competent enough with the task that she took on herself.

She LOVED Transfiguration.

Probably more than anything else. It was not only her favorite subject but, as she saw it, a way of life! And she had been ecstatic about meeting the professor.

"Good morning Professor!" Ariel greeted with a smile, finding a desk toward the front of the room. "How are you today?"

Personally, the girl could not CONTAIN her excitement.
Oh yes, this was going to be good.
Sophia checked her watch to be sure of the time. Yes it was an early class and she wasn't aware of coffee being served here but this one was on something...probably chocolate frogs or something from honeydukes.

"Good morning Miss Bride. I'm fine, thank you"

She stood behind the desk she chose this time and eyed the large box and tried to listen carefully to the sounds that were coming from it. Eep!
It really was nice not having to call anyone out on having an untidy uniform. Slowly it seemed they were beginning to get it. Your appearance mattered, it did because it speaks to people before you do.

"Good morning Miss Campbell."

It was the least she could do considering there wasn't much to be done about the bird's nest on her head. Okay, it wasn't that bad, just noticeably un-brushed and pulled into a messy ponytail. Not her fault she was running late, Bellaire needed to not have her classes so early, yeah?

Once she was as neat as she would ever be she walked into the class, glanced briefly at the shuffling box before smiling brightly at the Professor. "Good Morning Professor Bellaire." Her eyes shifted to the board. "Erm...good to know you had a lovely summer."

Was that a part of the class? Would they be tested on it later? She shrugged and found a seat in the middle of the room, fixating again on the shuffling box. This wasn't DADA...whatever was inside wasn't vicious. The thought was almost disappointing when she thought about it.

Sigh.
Trouble maker alert. Sophia's eyes followed Miss Cambridge right to her seat. She scanned the girl for any oddities and any chocolate frogs she might have stashed out anywhere. There would be no eating in her class...not unless specified.

"Good morning Miss Cambridge..it's good to see you can read and so didn't ask."

Though the walk to the sixth floor helped a bit. At least she did't yawn every minute. Only every seven minutes or so. And since it was Transfiguration, then it meant they were probably going to be 'doing' something rather than just sit and answer questions all the time. She was hoping so.

The fifth-year entered the classroom, took a look around then walked further in. Oh, a box. And it was making sounds, oookay. "Good morning, Professor," She greeted the woman when she passed her.

Oooh. Lex. Cassia walked over to the lioness and slid into a seat next to her. "'Sup," She said dropping her bag to the floor next to her.
Here was another student who tend to do very well in her class. There was something of a smile as Miss Somerlad passed her. Tyler spoke very highly of her brother so she supposed it was just good genes in general.

"Good morning Miss Somerlad." She frowned. "There will be no supping in my class."

Transfiguration was the class he found harder than all of the rest and so naturally he was eager to improve and everything buuuuuuuuuuuuut... vibes. There were vibes. Coming from the professor. And the room was too quiet.

And he was trying really really hard not to bounce but even HE knew that now was not the time.
Mr. Tempus looked like he really should have gone for a jog before coming to class because he seemed like he was about to make a run for it. Really she would not have brought anything dangerous to class if she didn't have someone there to help...though Medea was of no use the last time she asked for her assistance.

"Good morning."

He'd stabbed himself with a fork WAY too many times last term.

"Good morning, Professor," Mo slipped around to stand near the bully-baby named Sophie, giving her hair a tug as he stood beside an open desk.
"Good morning Mr. Branxton. Hands to yourself please." Yes she saw that. What on earth? What kind of greeting was that anyways? Not that her class was a place for socializing but still. She shook her head.

In silence.

The sort that was directed completely inward. He was here because he had to be, and because it was his favourite subject once upon a time, but that didn't matter today. He had dressed nice and made sure his uniform was pristine though, sort of out of habit for a Bellaire lesson.... it was just that his heart wasn't in it.

"Good morning professor." Automatic. Barely audible. Distracted.

But still polite.
Once again Sophia checked her watch. Five minutes then she'd commence with her lesson and lock the door. Time was time and rules were rules.

"Good morning Mr.Odessa."

Lady was nuts.

The sixth year entered quietly, and with a polite "Morning, professor," for the lady at the front, she went to stand near a seat by Ella.
Professor Bellaire's eyes narrowed at this one. She had the perfect spell ready for this one today should there be any slip of the tongue...or teeth.

"Good morning..Miss Fischer." Bit anyone today, have you?

She wasn't sure how good of a morning it was just yet so she left that little part out of the greeting.

Was she wearing protective gloves? What was going to be going on during this lesson she wondered. At least she could be sure that it wouldn't involve beards. This professor would have none of that nonsense and she could respect her for that!
"Good morning Miss Lockwood." Two minutes...two minutes and she'd be closing her classroom door and it would be right into her lesson...right right, they were still on time.

She smiled at the professor, "Hello Professor" and turned to find her seat.

Noticing she was one of the later ones into the room she hurried to her usual front seat and placed her stuff down, but stayed standing knowing she wasn't allowed to sit. She wondered what they would be doing today and anticipated actually learning something that would be useful.
And that was it for her. Sophia offered the prefect a smile before pointing her wand at the door and shutting it. There was a definitive click after the slam. Right then.

"Good morning Miss Wheatborn."

Professor Bellaire moved to the board once again and erased what was on there before scribbling a spell in neat cursive hand writing.

Lepus Caput

"You may all take your seats. Now this spell in simple English translates to rabbit head. This is because the spell we'll be practicing today requires you to transfigure rabbits into top hats. Fine angora top hats, just in time for the winter season." Personally she wasn't a fan of fur and much preferred dragon skin but unfortunately Roro wasn't made into that lovely dragon skin skirt she wanted.

Pity.

"The wand movement requires you to make this shape with your wand
SPOILER!!: wand movement
.
" She demonstrated. "Now like with most transfiguration spells you'll need a firm first. Any questions before the demonstration?"
