"Well, we'll just have to see about that then!''
Adi declared with a grin. He might just look like a shrimp at five feet but he was a determined little fellow. "You just might get another surprise.'' Oh! Game face? He returned his. Oh yesh. He was a determined Puffer.

"Are you always this rude?'
' the eleven year old asked. He was not afraid to say what he wanted. He had a suspicion Hannah knew she was being rude but she didn't care. "Do you have friends?'' That rudeness was not going to get her friends. Not much anyway. "Or is it that you just don't like me? Or first years in general? Or Hufflepuffs?''

"Oh you're old!''
Adi blurted without thinking. Oops! He could feel his cheeks growing hot. "I don't mean that you're old as in age. I meant you're one of the older students. Sorry about that.'' He grinned sheepishly. "I'm a first year,'' he added with a nod.
It seemed like Adi was set on challenging her and Hannah was only too willingly to accept. It really wasn't about just him, although she didn't like the fact that he was one up on her, she wanted a re-match on the whole house of Hufflepuff. She wanted, no she NEEDED to win. "I guess we will." A surprise eh? Not if Hannah had anything to do about it. "I wouldn't count your chickens before they're hatched." Did she really just say that?

The next thing to come out of Adi's mouth actually caught her off guard. She wasn't used to puffers standing up for themselves. This was a nice little change. She liked the spunk. Oh darling, this isn't me being rude at all." Really he had no idea. If anything she was actually being nice. Perhaps he should go chat up Laura and Sophie and they could tell him just how rude she could be. "I am friends with only ones who are worthy." So yes she did have friends, but no she was not friends with just anyone. Hmm... how to answer the next question. The sixth year didn't even bat a lash at his words. She merely took her time pondering what to say as if she were being interviewed. She couldn't really say that she didn't like the boy. So far she liked that he stood up for himself, but he was a Hufflepuff. "Well, I am not fond of Hufflepuffs... young people are ok as long as they don't annoy me." Cough. "I haven't decided on you just yet." That much was true.

Old? Hannah was not old. "I think you meant to say perfect." The poor boy was confused. Look at that, he was apologizing! How cute! There really was no need for that. She knew she was perfect.
