Alec was hungry. And he didn't want to stop by the kitchens and bother the house elves for food or to disturb them while they were working. That would be really rude, right? And what if they didn't want visitors? Exactly. So... he came the long way. All the way UP TO THE GREAT HALL for FOOD.

With his hands dug deep in his pockets, the seventeen year old stepped past the doors of the Great Hall, grinning at the lack of turnstiles. He was REALLY glad that they didn't have to pay to eat in here again. Those pesky turnstiles were still around, sure, but at least he didn't have to find somewhere else to sit and eat if he wanted to have lunch with his friends and it turned out to be cold outside.

Instinctively, he headed over towards the Hufflepuff table because... well... he was just too used to it. It was then that his eyes landed on a familiar head of blonde, spiky head and... he GRINNED. WIDELY. CAPITAL LETTERS. He headed over towards the new person, taking note of the way they were so happily munching on food. A sandwich. And not just one, THREE! HEH. Hungry leprechaun was hungry.

"Sure you got enough there, mate?" he asked, sitting down opposite the dude and grinning.
