Aidan hung his head for a few moments, letting everything sink in. Because he WAS listening, Dora, okay? Also, because he was tired and ready for bed and emotionally exhausted. But he lifted his head back up to say, "That would be appreciated." He was completely serious. No more hexing. No more embarrassing him in front of the new girls and first years. Pretty please.
She would have to try really REALLY hard not to hex him again, if he was still going to be acting like this. At least she'd managed not to call him anything offensive while they talked, this was improvement on both parts she thought.
"Okay, I'm done." He could go now if he wanted, she had writing and reading to get back to. Not to mention people waiting for her back in the dorms.
