Alexa was a tough little gryffindor, but even she was capable of being hurt and embarrassed, especially at the hands of one of her best friends.
The fifth year moved to the floor, directly in front of the seat he was occupying beside her abandoned one and tried to grab his attention. "That wasn't a talk you had with her, that was you being frustrated. Get all that frustration out of you before you go talk to her again. Because you should talk to her again, more civilized. She's your friend, she's worth it." Dora wasn't going to tell him what to say to her, but he did need to at least talk to her more like she was his best friend and not some stalker chick. Aidan sat, mouth gaping, speechless at Dora. Because...well...she was very likely right. Although, you know, HE was humiliated too. And Lex WAS a rubbish friend for breaking the 'friendship' barrier. And Lottie was definitely a rubbish friend. Not that she was ever a good one to him, but after their trip to Diagon he thought things would be looking up.
He was wrong.
He couldn't argue about Dora's next point, either. Because he KNEW he was frustrated. He still thought that was considered a talk, but fine. "Fine. But that's not avoiding." He'll take time to get his frustration out before talking to her again. Don't go saying he was avoiding things, though, Dora. He didn't want to hear that ever again. It really wasn't true. Maybe that was what he was doing all along, anyway.
