She made it seem as if he was lying. He wasn't. He HAS been called smart. Gah! He didn't need to prove himself or anything. Kennedy shrugged the comment off. He did crack a smile at what she said next. But it was all he could do not to laugh. "That's...great. Maybe you should go on an expedition to search for them." Then he wouldn't have to worry about crossing her path again.

Kennedy took another step back, but found that there was no more room to step away. His back hit the display wall. She probably knew he was lying and she was going to go all rabid fox on him.

She believed him. She believed HIM. Thank Merlin. Kennedy's shoulders relaxed. Phew. "Jeez, that sucks. I heard the French Ministry of Magic is hiring." TOTALLY MADE UP...but he was going with it. Mellow.
