Nigel had an idea about the prank call itself. But it was always more work to get it started.

Well, Schuyler had no phone numbers committed to memory and it seemed as though Nigel knew of none, so... yes. A random number would have to do the trick. "Okay, let's do that," she said with a nod. Schuyler eyed the phone in his hands, then her eyes flickered to the boy again before returning to the telephone.

"Well, here goes." Beep, beep. Beep beep beep. Beep, ETC. Figuring that she had pressed a fair amount of buttons, she returned her hand to her side and waited...

Ring. Ring.

Ahhh! "It's ringing! Quick, you talk first." Because Schuyler had NO idea what to say. Come to think of it, she'd probably end up getting into some sort of legitimate conversation with the person.
