Without leaving time for them to respond the tiny elf rushed off, hands flapping with excitement. She had missed her studentsies this past year! Crashes, bangs, and other loud kitchen-y noises reverberated throughout the room as the creature grabbed some milk and then searched for the perfect pancake pan. "I FOUND IT!" she yelled triumphantly when she finally located it. BEEEEAAAMing with pride, she returned to the studentsies and handed over her finds. "Miss and sir just yell for Tinka if they need anything else! Tinka come right over right away because Tinka love, love, LOVE to help studentsies!"
And ears still flapping, she headed off to get started on the bread batter for supper.

I like seeing your egg cracking skills. Tag replayed that in his head and actually smiled back at her. Sounded like Tag's type of compliment. It was a compliment, right? A weird way to put one. But, Tag probably would've said something like that too. "I like your egg cracking skills." The blonde repeated smiling at her, "Sounds like my odd ways of saying compliments are rubbing off on you. Its like a ... I like your face... compliment I give." She had a nice face, but... don't like... Tag sighed and turned his face around. "Its Philosopher Tig, actually. And egg-cracking Professor Tag.".
Whisk. Tag handed, CAREFULLY, the whisk to Cassia. "There you go."

Tag didn't like elves. He had his reasons of course. But, well, he liked Tinka. She was actually putting a smile to his face. She was so enthustiastic and happy to help and kind.
And Tinka disappeared for a minute or so, and Tag began to cringe when he heard all the ruckus she was beginning to cause. Well, it should all be well as long as pots and pans and the such weren't crashing onto Tinka's head. When she returned Tag grabbed the milk and placed it on the counter and took the pan and as well placed it on the counter. Tag nodded at Tinka for her help and even expressed it verbally, "Thank you, Tinka. If we need help finding stuff we'll surely come ask you."
She was gone again. Hopefully she had heard Tag's thanks.
Tinka remembered her! That made the snake happy. Good to know that the elves didn't forget the students this past year. Cassia smiled at Tinka's rambling. She had once tried to talk back to her when she was like a first or second year, she knew better now and just let her leave get the stuff they wanted.
Back to Tag. She hadn't noticed that that compliment sounded kind of weird until he pointed out. That made her let a small laugh. "
I suppose that is true," She said to him. Then he had to explain it and she felt her cheeks burning.
I like your face. Well, she most certainly didn't know that it meant that. Not that she didn't find his face ....but if she had the guts to say it everything would have been so different right now. She paused processing her words before saying. "
I meant it, you know." That took all self-esteem to be said. And of course she was referring to the compliment but she sure wasn't brave enough to say it directly.
She shook her head feeling stupid that she confused the nickname that
she came up with. "
Yeah, erm.. I know, I just.." Am dumb? Making a fool of myself? Luckily, Tinka was back again and Cassia didn't have to respond for now. "
Thank you, Tinka!" She grinned at the house-elf and reached to take the milk and the pan but Tag already took care of that. "
Thanks again, We'll tell you if we need anything else," She called over behind the elf who was already heading somewhere else in the kitchen.
Heh. It was nice having the elf for a bit.
Cassia took the whisk from Tag then turned around so that she faced him, making the table to her right. "
Err.. Sorry, I've been acting a bit weird," She said non-too casually. "
There's... just a lot on my mind," She said quietly turning the whisk in her hands.
Where were they in the pancakes making again?
