If he was hungry he'd have to get his own food. Melanie was a bit too preoccupied with humming and searching for a pot. When she had found one, it seemed like her brain was cleared of one problem.

Which meant that was when she noticed there was another Gryffindor sitting in the kitchen. By herself.

And that sight was a bit eerie, causing Melanie to drop it. "Drats," she muttered, picking it up from the floor and setting it by the stove. She'd have to wash it before using, of course.

"Hey, you're Tessa right? Are you waiting for someone?" Melanie asked, smiling at the girl as though she hadn't been frightened by the way the girl had seemed to appear out of nowhere. Nope. Lion. Brave. Gryffindor. Stuff.
