Hazel had been looking forward to being sorted for a long time, but now she was simply... terrified. Part of her wished her name wouldn't be called, but she breathed an internal sigh of relief that she was indeed magical when she heard, "Hazel Rawthorne!" By the time she got up and successfully sat on the chair, she was almost shaking with fear. The sorting hat said something about being loyal and true, but she couldn't really hear. She closed her eyes and hoped for the best.

"HUFFLEPUFF!" the sorting hat shouted. She had never been happier in her life.
