Couldn't even conjure one patronus when it was most needed.

His eyes briefly glanced towards Medea, hoping that she had been able to get over her depression over the issue as well. Must have hurt her a billion times more, being the Defense Against the Dark Arks professor and all.

But back to the Ancient Rune professor...and the gap between them. Odd that the Arithmancy professor wasn't here yet. Airey would have assumed she would be here early considering she had yet another Head Boy from her house.

Airey squirmed in his seat a moment before passing a poster to the old man and inclined his head in a sheepish greeting. Women and old people. He was no good talking to either of them.

He stopped by his office briefly dropped of his things and threw on the only nice suit he had. He walked to the dias and with both his hands pushed his hair up. Where was he supposed to sit? He looked over each empty seat, stopped when he eyed a blonde haired well dressed guy minus one shoe, and feathers sitting in front of him "FLAMS!" Tiberius screeched in his high-pitched mousy voice as he moved along to where his friend sat. "Sorry, about not telling you I was on the train. I'll make it up to you later." He slapped Airey on the back, and looked down at the posters in front of him. Flams should at least put a smile on to show off those nice new set of chompers.

Not wanting to be entirely rude, he gave the old guy a smile who was at the end of the table, and the two ladies who were two seats down from Flamsy...blushed at the sight of the blonde one, and turned his attention back to the old guy. "Hey there, nice night out isn't it. My names Dursley, Tiberius Dursley."Gotta respect the elders first, greet them before greeting anyone else.

Botros was minding his own business watching the kids talking energetically and picking fights with each other when something moved at the corner of his eye. A poster? "What is it?" Since he'd greeted his fellow professor just a minute ago, the old man took the poster and started reading. Hmm. HMMM. Oh "Pebbles" was lost? The picture on the poster made it look like a homemade stuffed pet, but Botros didn't comment on that. Instead, he cleared his throat, claimed a sorry, considerate face and nodded, "I will certainly keep my eyes out for... him(?). Feo's too. And might post this on the noticeboard by my office." Because he'll forget where he put it otherwise.

Then there were shouting and enthusiasm and Botros just watched the new man exchange a heartily greeting with the Astronomy professor. Apparently they knew each other? He didn't expect the new professor to turn his attention back to him, but probably it was inevitable since he was sitting RIGHT there. Botros smiled and patted his chest, close to the heart, in reply. "Abraham Botros, ancient professor for ancient runes. It's exciting to meet you, Mr. Dursley." The old man's eyed then went up to the Astronomy professor giving him an amused look. Having a reunion with a friend in Hogwarts must be thrilling!

Interesting greeting. Then again, he probably doesn't want to yell.. or get up and walk over here. She was excited to see an older gentleman on staff. He was probably full of wisdom and knowledge. She'd have to chat with him later.
Yes, he was definitely visiting the professor's office out in the grounds. Maybe she'd get him a special broom for relatively slower flying? He missed it.

Maybe if she didn't make eye contact they wouldn't notice the prefect going behind the chairs. Not staying in front of the table.

She was thinking about last term as she continued and how fragile and weak she was. Then that detention happened and made things incredibly worse for her, but then the dementors and Tillstorm actually helped her. That was still bugging Minerva. Why would the wacka doodle help her after she was so mean to her. It made no sense to the seventh year, but neither did what she was about to do, but she wanted to do it for some reason. Maybe she wanted to prove that her spirit hadn't been broken last term by the evil women or maybe she was still a bit crazy for even thinking about let alone doing what she was about to do.

Pulling out the Healers empty chair Minerva made herself comfortable. Sitting in the healers seat. Yes the healers seat. Well this was an interesting view of the tables. So this is how it felt to be the healer at the start of term feast. She could really see it. Healer Wheatborn McCarthy taking over the evil healers spot to make the school have a nice caring healer. One that wouldn't terrify the students so much. It had a nice ring to it if she said so herself. This could work she had to admit.

She turned her head smiling at the new victim grounds keeper. Well this was the what sixth new groundskeeper in her seven terms here. Good luck to you sir. Min kept the smile on her face even though her nerves were getting the best of her. She would sit and wait for Tillstorm to come.

Oh. Hmm.

OH.

Botros stared, his mouth formed into a small o as the Hufflepuff just went ahead and took the healer's seat. Did she know that seat was taken? Did she know WHOSE seat was that? Botros wanted to usher her over to try the seat next to him instead but she was too far away and he didn't want to shout with the presence of everyone. So he just watched, and shook his head at the girl's reckless unnecessary stunt.

This one wasn't so hard, she was bidding him good evening or day or any other equivalent greeting. "Good evening to you too, miss Romanos. Always glad to see you doing well." The last time he saw her last year, she was in an unwell shape and it made his fatherly heart hurt for her (and the others). It was good to see her smiling again.
