He caught the look from West and smiled sheepishly, one shoulder creeping up in a shrug. "What? School clothes... we've been wearing shorts and little else all summer. I'm allowed to comment on your attire." It was easier to limit his comments to West's always-dapper appearance rather than address the reason West was mopey.
He did fiddle with the badge on his cardigan, letting it slide into the pocket almost casually as they continued in search of the trolley.
West shrugged in echo of Mo.
"I had to get all new shirts." He held his arms out to indicate why. Length. He kept stretching out. It played havoc on his wardrobe, though thankfully some things could be resized by magic at least.
As casual as Mo's motion was, West caught it. He eyed Mo and then pushed off the wall and shoved his hand in his mate's pocket, extracted said badge, and slapped it back on Mo's chest again, careful with the pin.
"At least be proud of it." He said, with quiet intensity, looking straight into Mo's eyes with an almost painful frankness. He held the look for a moment then headed up the corridor.
"C'mon, lets find that trolley."
