Derek... awkwardly made his way to the level 2 lab. That felt weird and... awkward. He was totally not at home there. It was a lab, of course, and it was a nice one, but... it was still weird.

Slowly making his way towards the Potions area, the 27 year-old pulled out some vials from his pocket and stared at the counter for a few seconds before organizing the things he would use.

...Awkward.

He couldn't help but look over his shoulder every now and then. He wouldn't get in trouble or anything, because he was supposed to be working there, but... still. Argh, that felt horrible. Derek just wanted his lab back.

Whatever. He would have to work with what they had now. So that was what he did. Getting his own ingredient kit he had brought from home - a much richer and more complete kit than your regular Potions kit, for that matter - Derek started testing the pinkish drool from that fiendish creature that had destroyed his lab.
