Harry Potter Scholastic 15th anniversary illustrator Kazu Kibuishi was on hand at the Barnes & Noble store at The Grove at Farmers Market in Los Angeles on Wednesday evening, where he signed copies of the new covers of the books, including Sorcerer's Stone.

During the presentation, according to a fan who attended the event, an earlier proof for the Chamber of Secrets was revealed, showing Harry fighting the basilisk in the chamber. The cover below was not used at the end, this one was. We will update if and when we receive a hi-res version of this version.
