Because she had a serious answer to that question and the answer was three years. But him laughing and smiling made Melanie feel like it was a rhetorical question. She was about to say something when she heard her name... and Landon's name... in the same sentence with the word snog. Blushing even more, she readjusted his beanie on her head. "Hi Tag," she said feebly, waving at him.

Awkward.

Then she turned to Landon.

"Landon... You could've popped my rabbit balloon."

Because Tag had reminded her and all.

Once Landon pulled away he heard a familiar shout coming from his right and he turned and saw Tag. Really? Did he have to be here right now? "Oh shush, you leprechaun. Go back to work." He laughed, letting go of Melanie just so if anyone else came by, they wouldn't know what had just happened. Though he was pretty sure everyone in the shop heard Tag's shouting. Whatever. He could care less right now. Though he'd remember not to come into this shop again or when Tag was working.

He turned back to Melanie and before he could say anything, she said words that he was definitely not expecting. He raised an eyebrow and laughed at her. "I kiss you and all you can say is that I could've popped your balloon?" He rolled his eyes. He definitely did not know what to expect from her, that was for sure.
