What did she say? Her eyes went wide when she said it and her face went bright red. She hadn't meant that. He wasn't her boyfriend either. She didn't have one. What was she saying? Someone needed to press pause on her mouth and march her right out the door, towards the Leaky Cauldron and floo her back home.
Because nothing she was doing or saying was making any sense whatsoever.
Landon waited patiently as Melanie seemed to be stuck on her boyfriend's name. Why couldn't she just say it? He was getting frustrated now. They were supposed to be best friends. Why wouldn't she tell him?
He waited and waited and then...WHAT?
Landon blinked, feeling as though someone had just smacked him in the face. Did he hear her right? Did she just say him? "W-what?" He stuttered.
What just happened?
