Landon was pretty proud of himself once he saw Melanie's reaction. So she did like him. Well that's what he thought but the next words that came out of her mouth, he was definitely not expecting. It was almost like he was stabbed in the heart or something once she said that she didn't like him and that she...had a boyfriend. "Oh." He said, immediately taking his arm off from around her. He distanced himself a bit, to make sure that no one would see them then. He didn't need an angry boyfriend mad at him. But wasn't she giving him all the signs that she did like him? He was confused. "Sorry, I thought-...never mind." He sighed, turning away from her and looking at some of the toys on the shelves. He felt like an idiot at this point. Why did he even try?

He just nodded as she continued to talk about the wigs and whatnot. It was weird now. Really weird. She had to know how he felt about her and now it was...strange. "You can go ahead and look at the stuffed animals." He frowned, grabbing one of the auror action figures and looking at it. He was not in the mood.
