New images have surfaced from Universal Orlando Resort, courtesy of the WDWMagic forums, showing the Hogwarts Express cars for the very first time. The cars will be part of the running train itself, running from Platform 9 3/4 at King's Cross in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Diagon Alley to Hogsmeade Station in the existing Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Hogsmeade in Islands of Adventure.

Do note, in the second photo, that the extended boxed area on the car is rumoured to be the screens and electrical system that will display the "British countryside" from the windows of the train to guests that ride on it. The forums mentioned that there are several of these cars available - no confirmed word yet on how many cars will be on the Hogwarts Express itself, and how many of the trains will ride back and forth from Islands of Adventure to Universal Studios Florida.





The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Diagon Alley is scheduled to open in Universal Orlando Resort sometime in 2014.
