Why did she need to know that? And was it just a lucky guess? She seemed to know a little too much about her for comfort..
She raised a speculative eyebrow as she continued. Mariel was about to tell her she didn't know what she was talking about as she was sure there was no actual proof.. but really, who cared if she had pelted the girl with a rotten tomato? Wasn't that what their training thingy was about.. to be vigilant to attack? And besides, she was clever! Her folder held protectively against her chest, she crossed her arms and allowed a tiny smirk to form. "Doesn't hurt to think outside the box once in a while.. I would think a tomato would hit its mark much better than a water balloon, wouldn't you agree?"
"Keeper. Of course." Genevieve crossed her arms and tapped her foot briskly as she considered the woman in front of her. The woman who had made her hair stink for the rest of that blasted training session. Of all the attacks, that had felt the MOST personal.
"Well, I'm glad I finally caught up with you," she patted around in her pockets, her eyes never leaving Mariel's face as she did so. Finally, she pulled a packet of gummy worms from her pocket and thrust it at the woman. "It really was a remarkably good toss. Really. Bully to you. You can have these. It's what one does, apparently."
