He didn't notice Melanie's blushing seeming as he was trying to hide his own blushing that he had caused. "Yeah, I can see over crowds and not have to stand on my toes, but being short is probably fun because you can fit in tiny spaces." He nodded, turning around to see what she had poked him with. An auror action figure!? "I used to have like ten of those!" He then realized what he had said and coughed. "I mean...I had maybe one of those when I was younger. Silly things really." Awkward.

Good thing Melanie brought up silly faces though or else he thought he might be trapped in that situation forever. Two faces though? "What? Is Melanie Sung jealous of my puppy dog face?" He said, making the puppy dog face. "You can't deny iiiiit." The puppy dog face was definitely used to his advantage. He laughed as she played around with the action figure before setting it down. Oh memories.

Landon frowned as she said she wouldn't name it after him because he was going to be at Hogwarts. "Melanie. I already told you I won't be there." He sighed. When was she going to finally realize that? "Fine. Name it Ray." He shook his head, walking down towards the end of the aisle and looking at some of the other toys. He was upset. Upset that she couldn't see that he wouldn't be there and it just hurt him really.
He brought up a very good point about being short. So she simply shrugged. "Well it's not good for a boy to be short, because girls like guys who are taller than them." That was a fact. Guys were automatically more attractive if they were taller. And Landon was taller which made him attractive.

... Not that she was thinking about him being attractive or anything.

"No, I'm pretty sure you said ten of them," Melanie giggled. Really, auror action figures? "Does Landon Hughes have a box of auror action figures packed nicely in a box?" Melanie was teasing him about the action figures. Melanie never had action figures, though she never understood why. She had little dolls before so she supposed those were like action figures except... more... girly? "Are you sure they're silly? I think they're pretty cool. They remind of those... uh... those Power Rangers. You know, that muggle show?" Aurors were like Power Rangers minus the... everything except protecting the world kind of thing.

Melanie immediately looked away when he made the face. "Melanie Sung is not jealous of Landon Hughes' puppy dog face," Melanie said, blushing and picking up the action figure again. She was going to avoid looking at that puppy dog face. "However, she is jealous that Landon had ten of these cute little auror action figures," she said, laughing, playing with the action figure again. Melanie wondered if it would light up or something. No? Well then.

He wasn't going to be there.

That stung a little... or more like a lot. "Well, I want you to be there," she muttered quietly to herself, playing with the teddy bear Landon had given her. And now he looked upset and that made Melanie feel bad. She followed him down the aisle and placed the teddy bear back in the bag. "I wouldn't be able to name the bear Landon anyways because if I put him by my bed, it'll be like you're watching me sleep," she pointed out, trying to lighten the mood a little.
