Melanie Sung was not blushing. It was simply a red balloon in front of the light casting a weird glow or something. She let out a slight cough and cleared her throat. It was probably just hot in the shop. That was probably it. The Gryffindor followed Landon picked up an Auror action figure, poking him with it. "Of course. I only have one face and that's my face," she pointed out. "But you have two. You have your face then your puppy dog face which is, honestly, just unfair." Because puppy dog faces were cute and despite Alice trying to teach Melanie how to make one, it just didn't work. "Arrrgh. The auror's going to lock you in Azkaban," she joked, waving the toy around before setting it back down with a little giggle.

She pushed ~~her~~ Landon's hat up a little and made sure the sweater was folded properly in the bag before looking up at Landon, still holding the teddy bear. There was no occasion for this gift. Well, then. Melanie just smiled as she looked at the teddy bear and made it face Landon.

"It doesn't look like a Landon though. Plus, you'll be there at Hogwarts so... I don't really need a bear named Landon," she said, shrugging her shoulders a little with a smile. Because she didn't care if Landon wasn't definitely going back to Hogwarts; she was just going to carry on with believing that he would. "Maybe I'll name him... Ray. He looks like a Ray doesn't he?"

Landon gave up trying to make Melanie decide that he was the best hugger. He'll just have to prove it one day and she would finally see that he was most definitely the best hugger out there.

He didn't notice Melanie's blushing seeming as he was trying to hide his own blushing that he had caused. "Yeah, I can see over crowds and not have to stand on my toes, but being short is probably fun because you can fit in tiny spaces." He nodded, turning around to see what she had poked him with. An auror action figure!? "I used to have like ten of those!" He then realized what he had said and coughed. "I mean...I had maybe one of those when I was younger. Silly things really." Awkward.

Good thing Melanie brought up silly faces though or else he thought he might be trapped in that situation forever. Two faces though? "What? Is Melanie Sung jealous of my puppy dog face?" He said, making the puppy dog face. "You can't deny iiiiit." The puppy dog face was definitely used to his advantage. He laughed as she played around with the action figure before setting it down. Oh memories.

Landon frowned as she said she wouldn't name it after him because he was going to be at Hogwarts. "Melanie. I already told you I won't be there." He sighed. When was she going to finally realize that? "Fine. Name it Ray." He shook his head, walking down towards the end of the aisle and looking at some of the other toys. He was upset. Upset that she couldn't see that he wouldn't be there and it just hurt him really.
