Or maybe...she really WAS just HAPPY to be leaving. Lex was! Ohmygosh! She had remembered! ALEXA HAD REMEMBERED THE COOKIES!
Bunz was suddenly overcome with a wash of sentimentality, so much so that she nearly choked up when the girl skipped over to her. She let her hands fall down from the door and turned toward Alexa with open arms.
"Cooookies?" For herrrrrr? "Regular chocolate chip is just fine, Ms. Cambridge," she assured her, hands still making grabby motions for the cookies. Finally, something she might be able to eat in this dirty castle full of poorly-cooked food!
