As he made his way to the Hufflepuff table, he noticed Jory and Oakey looking all depressed. Kace remembered they were seventh years. They were graduating this year. Awww he was gonna miss them.... He nodded and waved at them knowing they wouldn't wanna talk to him.
Then he noticed all the rest of the puffs. They all seemed to be happy and talking till he noticed Minnie. She looked kind of glum. He wanted to go see Minnie but it looked like she wanted to be alone. He understood that concept. He nodded and waved to her.
He managed to find his own seat and was just sitting there. Looking around the great hall knowing he would be a second year next year. This all seemed to real. He reminded himself he needed to go see Ronnie to say goodbye.. The Great Hall was filling up quite a bit now but it still seemed quite... empty compared to the start of term feast. Or just... any feast. Maybe other people didn't want to come along here too? Alec understood that. End of Term feasts were just... sad to come to. Really.
But the arrival of another familiar face didn't go amiss by the sixteen year old and he watched as the guy sat down at their table. A small smile flitted across Alec's lips. The guy had had a great time at Hogwarts, right? Even with Dementors around and the goblins and something else that just didn't feel right. "Hey Kace!" he called, holding up a hand and waving at the first year, "You okay over there, mate?" Text Cut: Ells! Quote:

Alec looked okay which was all well and good but she knew that sometimes looks could be deceiving.
The blonde then followed her boyfriend's gaze to Bliss...and Tag. Oh. She didn't exactly know what was up or how to handle this or who to hug because eventually hugs would be in order, yeah? But for now she averted her gaze and gave Alec a look, wondering if he was a bit worried about this as well. So she wasn't okay. Alec frowned at this little fact and instead, searched her face for any clues on what might help to make her feel better. Maybe hugs? Maybe kisses? Maybe a blanket fort or a walk? Would the last two even work with one more evening at the school?
But she wasn't okay... he'd just focus on that part. "You want me to do anything to make you feel better?" Or make anything? Though, she might not want waffles after the feast. You know, if the feast was any better than what it had been at the beginning of the term. ... That feast... all that ice cream...
Alec shook his head and turned his attention back to the blonde. "Erm..." Was he okay? He shrugged in response before hastily adding, "Summer will be great, though." Text Cut: Oakster! Quote:

Alec had been dreading this. Sure, he knew he had to talk to the seventh years and it wasn't as if he could let his favourite Male Beater Moose go without saying goodbye. But goodbye's weren't easy. And Peter Pan himself said not to say goodbye. So... this wasn't a goodbye. It was more... see you later? Also, did Oakster realise that he had just used his, Alec's, surname unintentionally in a sentence? "You got any plans for the summer?" Or... for after summer? As for whether he'll be over at Ella's... "Yeah... yeah, I am. So, erm, make sure to drop by sometime and we'll have pancakes and Veggie Drinks? I heard you make the best kind." Text Cut: Jory! And mentions of Ronnie too! Quote:

So... his plans to get to know Jory had gone out the window, jumped on the back of a dragon and flown off into the sunset.
Really.
Alec shifted a little uncomfortably in his seat as he looked over at the seventh year. He was meant to get to know the older guy and possibly become good friend with him but... somewhere between his girlfriend, Quidditch, his studies, his friends and his girlfriend again, things just hadn't panned out as he had hoped it would. It was a shame, really.
The sixteen year old got up and headed over towards the seventh year. When he reached the guy, Alec wrapped his arms around him and gave him a big SUPER!HUG. Just because. "You think you'll be okay?"
... Oh. Bright Hair Girl! ... Ronnie, right? "Hey Ronnie!" Text Cut: Wade! Quote:

His face however was blank on his way over. This year sure had its fun moments and.. well, you know. Wade looked towards the staff table at the empty seat nearest to the Headmistress. He frowned as he thought back.
Wade then sighed.. Yeah.. here's to you, Mr. Firth.. It would take a while before that heavy weight in his stomach subsided over that.. Seeing his friends however lessened it, as he lightly smirked before squeezing himself into a seat between them. " Hey guys." He then looked towards the graduating ones. Hmm.. He really was going to miss them. " You all set?" Onesie... tigger onesie... Curly Wade had actually come to the feast in a ONESIE!
Alec's lips stretched themselves into a slight grin for a minute or two as he watched the guy head over towards them and the table. Trust Wade to always be weird and different and be able to pull it all off. And look at that head of curly hair! Alec definitely couldn't pull that off even if he tried.
At least both of their hairs were ruffly. "Hey Curly Wade!" he said, his grin going back to that usual smile he had on before, "Erm... nice onesie, mate!" Also, Alec was really... really glad that Wade wasn't leaving this term. Next term, though. Frown. Text Cut: Tobias! And mentions of Forrest! Quote:

"Just seeing what happens," he replied. "I can't fly though, not at home." He lived in a muggle neighbourhood. So that was another thing to be morose about. Where oh where had the bright side gone.
Maybe... maybe there was something nice? Tobias thought hard. "I live near a beach. Might go there."
Talking was EXHAUSTING. Tobias squeezed Bobo's arm again to reassured himself he was still there. It was comforting, you know?
Not wanting to bring the mood down even more and make everyone more miserable and be THAT GUY, Toby tried his super hardest to keep up the smile. It was hard being social when you were sad and tired. Was this how people usually felt? Was this a sign of nearly being a teenager? See what happens... Alec nodded along to that. It didn't sound like a bad way to spend the summer, actually. Though, Alec did hope that Tobias would find something that'll make his summer special... or just happy. Merlin knows, they all needed a great summer. "Oh... it'll be a shame not to be able to fly for two months," Not that Tobias really needed any practice or anything. Dude was a BRILLIANT Keeper and he was... twelve? Yeah? Man! "If I didn't live in a Muggle area... I would invite you over to mine to fly around. But I have video games, if you're interested." Everyone loved Mario Kart, yeah?
Wait, he lived near a beach? NEAR a BEACH? "That sounds awesome!" he said, smiling a little bit more, "And, erm, I like your monkey, by the way." It was nice that him and Ells had both brought their stuffies along to the feast.
Alec watched as the guy had headed off to go over towards... oh hey! Forrest, right? From the Start of Term feast and that Quidditch match. He... seemed like a quiet dude. Maybe. Nevertheless, Alec smiled a little and waved at the younger boy. Text Cut: Minnie! Quote:

So cute Toby, she loved it, but words were still just not coming to her and she was afraid talking could end up with her in a hug and she just wasn't sure she could handle that. So she let her eyes go back to her robes and she acted like there was a string she had to get. A wave?
Alec frowned a little. A wave was okay, yeah, but after the events of this year, he was used to being a little worried about Minnie. And looking out for her. And trying to help her whenever he could. And the bright side about that had been that... well... they'd become closer, hadn't they? Brother and sister. That's exactly what they were.
So... he was going to act like a proper younger brother and bug the girl. But nicely because he was still Alec Blake Summers. "Hey... Minnie?" he asked, nudging her side gently, "You want me to sit with you on the train back? I promise to leave once Ethan comes back from Prefect duties..." It would be just like the train ride to Hogwarts back in September. Text Cut: Annabeth! Quote:

It was easy for her to empathise for them. Hogwarts at its worst would be no worse than her own home. She breathed and her eyes welled with tears. Where were those wizards and witches who had helped her to come to Hogwarts now? Perhaps a social worker witch would be waiting for her at the station and then she wouldn't be forced to come back home. Home. Definitively it wasn't her home. Nor her family. Having a dad who believed that being a pickpocketer was a great job and a mum who loved to ill-treat her friends made Dementors to be cute puppies! And they hated her for being weird, for being a witch! She loved to be a witch! Maybe Professor Hecate could hire her as a nanny... There was always hope... Thinking about it made the girl feeling better. Surely she could volunteer to work with her Potions teacher. No payment, just a roof above her head and some food. No ice cream.
At the Hufflepuff table some familiar faces. Alec was there. "Hi, Alec!" She waved and smiled, waiting for him or someone else who could invite her to join the feast. She looked around. Asher wasn't there yet. Then she noticed Jory at the table. She waved at him. It would be nice if she could sit near to him. Jory was great to her, taught her a lot. "Ji, Jory! I mean, Hi!" She grinned and gave a hopeful look at him. She really want him to invite her to sit next to him.
It would be rude if she wouldn't greet everyone, although she didn't remember their names. Ella, Minerva and the others... It'd be better if she'd wave at everyone. So, she waved: "Hi everybody! Great feast, huh?" She put on her face her best grin. A new arrival to the Hufflepuff table! And a happier arrival at that.
Alec smiled a little at his new friend and watched as she greeted him first. That was a nice feeling, actually. And even if she hadn't greeted him first, he would still feel happy about being greeted by her. It meant that she remembered his face, yeah? "Hey Anna!" he called, waving at her. An not Beth. Lesson learned.
... Great feast? Pause. Was it a great feast? He had no idea about that. He also had no idea how the girl felt about the idea of people leaving a place forever but... at least the girl seemed to be happy? Maybe? "I'm glad you think so!" Nodnod. "Erm... you excited about the summer? Got any plans?" Full of questions, he was. Text Cut: Asher! Quote:

He wasn't particularly hungry and really hoped there wasn't any ice cream. Nope. He may never eat ice cream again.
Fixing his robes and looking up, Asher noticed the Hufflepuff banner. "Wow, that's really cool." He smiled and thought back over the year. He had survived potions class, he had survived seeing a calf born (yuck!), and he had survived dementors attacking the school. Not too bad for his first year. Truth be told, Alec hadn't really realised that Asher had walked over towards the Hufflepuff table until the words 'Hi all' reached the sixteen year old's ears and he jumped slightly. ... Yeah... maybe he should pay more attention to things, yeah? Maybe.
And the boy... was looking up? Alec followed his gaze and found that it landed on the black and gold of the Hufflepuff banner. He looked back down at the young boy, a small smile spread across his lips. "It's a really awesome banner, isn't it?" And very Hufflepuff too. "Erm... and hey Asher! You excited for the summer?"
One question... uttered who knows how many times. Text Cut: LochNessie! Quote:

One last time to look at the staff table where...Airey was apparently shouting about a pluto? Ummm....okay. That, she didn't need to see again. She flicked her eyes to where James was sitting, a small smile appeared on her face. She's miss her, as well as Hadley but of course she'd do her best to stay in touch. As for Mr. Firth his story was just really sad, but she didn't have much time to herself to think about that.
Just like that someone popped beside her and the gazing of the Great Hall stopped and her eyes now focused on a fifth year boy that she loved like a brother. Alecutie. He got a tiny, weak smile, but it faded as she watched in confusion as he took a deep breathe.
Errrr....Was he okay?
It seemed he was. What he'd just said though. Those words connected to her tear ducts and caused them to produce tears."I..I.." Hiccup. "I..you're so adorable." It was a barely audible whisper. But seriously she loved him so much. BLINK. BLINK. STARE.
He had... made her cry? No. No, don't cry LochNessie! Because... because then he was going to cry and he didn't do that. At least, not in front of people. And even as he tried so much not to cry or well up or show any sort of sad emotions, he did feel his chin wobbling, his grey eyes locked on LochNessie's face.
... And she said something. Something that was hard to hear but Alec, being so near her, did manage to hear a sliver of it. The sixteen year old reached over and wrapped his arms around the redhead, giving her a tiny squeeze as he did so. "And you're awesome, LochNessie," he whispered back, "Don't... don't let anyone tell you otherwise, yeah?"
