I have no idea why no one on this site has commented on this forum. I cam across Dr. Who just a few months ago. I feel in love with the show. My favorite episode was the where the Doctor and Amy traveled back in time to see Van Gogh. It was the most beautiful episode full of history and true facts about the wonderful artist himself. Being in American I haven't been able to locate the new episodes on television or the internet but I'm patiently waiting. Amy was my favorite companion for the Doctor (Matt Smith). Rose comes in a close second along with Mickey. I do wish Matt Smith would never leave the show.
