And maybe she would think of some kinda use for it after a few minutes...
...except...it seemed to be of use now already. Dylan was trying to clean it up? From the floor...OH. That was how it could have been useful, making the floor slippery. But he was getting rid of that. Darn.
But...maybe it that was also useful because he was distracted now. Was it allowed for her to cast another spell before he'd attacked back? Was there a rule about taking turns on spells or anything? She had know idea...but it seemed like a silly rule if there was, and she wasn't gonna listen to it.
Her wand pointed at him again - still not paying a thought to untying herself - she tried to do the squiggly upside down U wand movement quickly as she cast, "Locomotor Wibbly." Jelly Legs Jinx. That was a spell she did actually remember learning in DADA. At least she wasn't totally hopeless there.
It seemed like a rookie mistake...but one he'd made all the same. When Dylan looked up to cast off his next spell, red light was already seeking him out at an alarming speed...The Slytherin seeker was quick...but he wasn't nearly quick enough to block it. In the next instance, his legs had collapsed beneath him...and he was struggling to not bust his head wide open...
Ouch!
"....That was smart of you...." It was. Dylan had to hand it to her...but would she be able to stay focused after the small victory...? Would she allow it to distract her as he had done with others. These were mistakes he wouldn't be making again, of course. Learning from them an all...
"Avis!" He hand and wand moved smoothly...as he bumped it along once...and then twice...completing it's motion. Yes, he hadn't done that one as a nonverbal...simply because he bum hurt from falling on it...and it was really had to stay centered after something like that happened. So....
Then there was blue light...just before birds barreled out of his wand tip...There was twittering and golden in color...Dylan eyed them for a few moments...They were very rather small...but with sharp, pointed beaks. Could the Gryffindor protect herself effectively against an attack like that? COULD SHE?
Well, they were about to find out....
"Oppugno!" POINT!
