The Captain was going to cast a spell that would force Beezy to have a sneezing attack...ULTIMATE DISTRACTION STRATEGY...He could clearly see the spell hitting her and causing these effects...Focus, focus, focus....

Had it worked?! Dylan was trying this new thing with non-verbals...and he'd felt his magic tense and release...and he'd seen the tale-tell green rings spirally from his wand tip! It might have appeared like a success...but that didn't mean it was strong enough to do the deed. Was it?!
