Alice's favorite spell was cast, and in a moment, there was the pale greenish-blue wall of water in between her and Dylan to help her block the gust of wind, his spell hopefully bouncing off back at him from the bubble-like shield. Why hadn't he been hit by her tooth-growing spell, though? She recalled his very first wand movement.. the one on himself.. had he muttered something? Had she not heard him speak?
Impiriano. He'd cast the shield on himself.
Typical Slytherin move.
Scowling a little, she waited for her shield to disappear before casting again. If his Ventus had rebounded back, would two spells break the layer of magic on him? But just in case.. "Finite!" That was to take care of any spell that was protecting him at the moment. "Titillando!" And that was extra.
......Oh, snap. 'Glass to sand' shield. He had taught her well.
Dylan was proud to see the rather difficult shield floating between the two of them. It was such a chore to cast...but Alice looked like a total natural. He just stood there and appreciated it's construction for a moment....but then she was tossing
'Finite' at him...and his own shield vanished...
Was that the Tickling Hex she was slinging at him?
Moving quickly, he shouted
"Protego!", working his wand simultaneously while doing so. Alice would need to be more inventive with this spells...Naturally, the easier they were in theory...the easier to dodge and block...and he was shieldless. Why wouldn't she take advantage?
"Petrificus Totalus!" His next move would have been to stun...but Dylan couldn't very well stun Alice...and if he weren't mistaken, it was against the rules anyway...Yep, rules. There were always so many rules...
Had that hit...Dylan couldn't be sure. This Gryffindor was a slippery one...
