That was easy enough.
Turning back to the students, James pocketed her wand and surveyed their faces for any signs of severe emotional or mental scarring. "Everyone all right?" The dementors hadn't touched any of them, but some of their faces said that they... weren't really okay. Moving toward the refreshments table, James stood by the chocolate cupcakes purposefully and suggested, "If you're feeling shaken, take a seat, raise a hand, and I'll toss you cupcake. Chocolate's supposed to help." That would probably be messy with the icing, but maybe a little bit of fun would help bring 'em back to Earth and shake 'em out of their dementor funk. And... maybe it would raise the overall mood level of what was supposed to be a PARTY. So she tossed the cupcakes to those who wanted them.
She still had a few individual awards to hand out... or would Lafay want to confiscate those, too?
