It was another chant where he had to say the runes, which was a bit of a pain but probably necessary. And the chants were pretty neat to say anyway, AND the two were sort of similar. And at least all the words were ones he could pronounce.

Tobias read through it again, like last time, to make sure he knew what he was doing, and prepared to flip to the chapter which listed the runes, again like last time. He stood where he stood last time and began with. "So, this is for the guardian of Hazel again. Ahem...

Was that it for this step? Was there anything else he needed to do with the chant at all? It seemed likely that he'd missed some important step, no matter how many times he kept re-reading the instructions.
