Dylan gave her some eyes as he watched her 'Flipendo' the dummy he'd just cast the shield on. Seemed to him like the Lion had that spell down to a science. Good for her...

...And she was still taking his advice and ducking. That was rather smart...

"Oh, I'm totally ready..."...but while he did his, Dylan was choosing to challenge himself. Removing his outer robe, he tossed it to rest over his bag...and then proceeded to start running...Well, not really running. More like Jogging. He was going to do some target practice. Seemed legit enough if he wanted to get his precision on point for upcoming matches...

Wand withdrew, he moved at a steady pace around the arena...It'd come down to looking...and casting...Quick and simple enough. Besides, he was a Seventh Year and a lot of these spells were just too simple for him. Dylan needed some level of difficulty.

The first time he'd looked and shot-off...hadn't been successful. In fact, he'd missed the dummy entirely...Not the second time, though. He aimed and ran..."Flipendo!" and then there was a check-mark squiggle motion...The blue light of the jinx flew towards the dummy...but quickly bounced off. "YOU DID IT..." Yea, he was shouting...because he was kinda AWAY from where she was standing..."AGAIN!"
