Also. It was all fluff. It was all nonsense. Lies and fibs and fluff. He was not great today. Good, perhaps. But a 'great' Seeker would've caught the bloody snitch, at least. That WAS the point of Seeking and all.

'Yunno?' Silly girl for asking. "No," he grunted in response.

"No," he said again, about the slide. Did he LOOK like he wanted to try the slide? He didn't. He wanted to go to his dorm. But Ethan said there'd be chicken nuggets. That was all he was here for. Honestly, those could probably make him feel better. So could sweets, if he wasn't too stubborn to eat some.

Then, that horrid chill came over him. Was it from the Slip and Slide? Did Mrs. James enchant the room colder, expecting everyone to get warm from partying? Aidan couldn't really tell. He didn't want to even sit up. Less so since that chill came about. In fact, he rolled onto his side to face the back of the couch, and curled up his legs in a fetal position.

Today was a horrible day, Eliza. How could you even think otherwise?

Well that was not how she had hoped that would go. She sighed to herself, but still tried to maintain an air of encouragement. She wasn't going to give up on someone when they were down because she knew very well that was when they needed people to believe in them the most. But, she wasn't completely oblivious to how he was feeling, so she didn't press it. So when he refused to comply how she wanted, she simply smirked a little bit sideways and let her hazel eyes look around the room. But she did stay there, next to him, to be supportive.

And it was a good thing she did, because now there were dementors in their common room!? "Seriously?" she breathed out incredulously. If Aidan was already feeling this awful, he could definitely not produce a patronus. But would that mean they wouldn't want him anyway because he was already so sad? She wasn't sure, but she wasn't about to let them take his soul without a fight - even though he hadn't been particularly nice to her, you couldn't just let people get attacked by dementors without blinking an eye. She took a defensive stance in front of him, although she was shaking from the cold and the fear, and raised her beech wand in her left hand and tried to think of the happiest memories she could. All the while, she silently hoped a professor would help them before she had to try to cast. Was Professor James still around with the trophy? She wanted to cry out for her, but she dare not take her eyes off the dementors that were slowly encroaching on their merriment.
