Okay enough forced smiling for one year.

Tobias made sure he clapped a little bit at the end speech as well, before letting his hands drop again. Ella had been a brilliant captain, she really had. And they'd worked so hard. And had loads of fun.

Except now he couldn't seem to muster up those happy feelings from the games or the team activities or anything. In fact they were getting further and further away. Almost like...

Tobias wasn't shocked or anything and he couldn't muster the energy for fear. He just sat where he was and didn't do anything else other than watch with sort of vague interest and loads and loads of melancholy. He already felt totally empty anyway.
