 Woooo partyyyy!
Eliza galloped into the common room shortly after Professor James and Lily. She'd taken extra nice care of her game robes, cleaning and folding them nicely into her locker before coming to the party. She didn't want them to get too mussed up, and she also had taken a little time to enjoy the feeling of winning her very first game, just in case she didn't make the team next year or something. It was bittersweet for her - getting to play her first game during Ethan's last game. But she would try not to think of him graduating right now because she knew how it would make her feel, so instead she focused on the positive. Because they had positively won that match!
She was all smiles as she looked at that white trophy in Professor James' hands. It didn't even matter that they were in fourth place, because they had won the game and it had been a great time. She looked at the banner above Mo's head as he climbed down from what looked like some kind of an adjusting pose. She walked over to him and jutted her chin upwards at the banner in praise. "First in fun, I like it!" She flashed her wide bright smile at him and nodded again. She really did like her teammates, quite a lot.
The general positivity, save for Aidan whom she would check on in a moment, was really great for what had been going on at Hogwarts this turn. She grabbed a cold butterbeer and sipped it slowly, tapping her foot to be music as she stood there just soaking in the good vibe from everyone. From her housemates. Her housemates. She was finally starting to feel like she belonged here after all. She gave Ethan a meaningful look from across the room and smiled with a nod at him. When she saw an opening, she rushed over to her first true friend at Hogwarts and gave him a huge hug and a pat on the arm once it was released. "Awesome, awesome, AWESOME goal keeping today, E! And how about that commentary? You've got a nice lil' nickname now!" She knew Ethan had had his reservations about his position this year, but this game had shown just how great of a player he was. Everyone in the stands had loved him, she could hear it all the way down on the pitch every time they'd cheered at his blocking.

After taking a few more sips of her butterbeer, she decided it was time to check on Aidan. She stepped carefully to his side, since she could do that now right? Because they were teammates? "Hey Aidan," she said brightly, "You were really great today!" And him being a Ravenclaw and all, she figured he'd want a little more than a fluffy compliment. "It was a great match. Sure, we didn't get the last snitch, but you really helped us get the win! And that's awesome in itself, fourth place or no. Yunno?" She smiled at him, trying to get him to feel better. No one was disappointed in him whatsoever, so he definitely shouldn't be down on himself. "You want to try the slide or something?" she offered. Maybe if he had a little push into the fun zone, it would have a snowball effect on him, or so she hoped.
