"I guess it's up to you all if you want to take the note seriously or not. To take action against poor eating habbits before practices and matches. I'm against all this Gummy Worm, and Ice Cream eating, and I see everyone eating it all the time...before Quidditch I mean." Hopefully that explained the note in more detail.

"I am" Oakey responded somewhat disappointed in his answer. "I'm gonna work on my NEWTs around that career just as I did for my OWLs, but I'm not to fond of working for Gringott's anymore." can you blame him, his first head on experience with Goblins was with them reposessing their prefect bathroom soaps everything at Hogwarts. Rather rudely too. "Is ther anyway of still pursuing that career, and not having to work directly with the bank?"
Oh. Last part of the detention, well that made sense. "Wouldn't soft foods be better before Quidditch?" Fina shrugged, but then shook her head. "Oh well, it doesn't matter anyway. Thank you though for your opinion. And you know, ice cream is actually high in calcium and vitamin D, since it's made from milk. Good for your bones." So really one shouldn't complain against the poor nutrition of ice cream, unless they wanted to complain about consumption of milk too. Gummy worms were another story; those were pure sugar.

"Cursebreakers aren't limited to solely working with the Wizarding Bank, although they do employ the majority of cursebreakers. And there are other branches besides the one in London." You know, just so Oakey was aware and not limiting himself to only one location. "Might I suggest ... studying abroad in Cairo for a year or two at their Wizarding University? They've got an excellent curse-breaking program and I think you'd do quite well."

And she didn't feel the need to find out boring stuff. History of Magic exists for a reason.

A smile, very wide smile. "True." It had worked, okay? That was amazing. And predictable, since she'd done it in class and all. Soooo, this talk of 'we'...did it include Lottie? If not, then she could totally be excused, right? Right. "Yup, exactly, I agree." Because that's what Airey said.

Once she was thanked, she nodded with a sweet smile, "No problem, Professor." And...this was sort of awkward, but it had to be brought up nicely, "So..may I be excused?" Well, Professor Hadley had the curtains and the banners, there was no need for Lottie anymore, right?
So that was that then. Banners returned and all of a sudden, the room just got super awkward. "Yes, you may. Thank you again, Lottie.." She nodded at the young badger, as she set the box off to the side, making a mental note to researching their proper hangings later in the day.

Now then, for his interests."Well, I do love Care of Magical Creatures, I had been doing side-reading on hippogriffs ever since my winning bid to ride one last year." Though there was another subject, too. "There's also, Ancient Runes as my next favorite.. so, I wasn't too sure on all of the career options with at least those two."
Listening to Wade as he spoke of his interests, she nodded at him. Creatures and Runes .... "Well, you could always use one as a fall-back. Magical Creatures has loads of career options available to you, whether you're looking at studying the healing of magical creatures, which by the way, Runes might come into play with regards to healing. Or simply researching their behaviors and reactions. There's always just general care. If you're looking into dragons, there are reservations throughout much of Europe." So really, the possibilities were endless. There was of course teaching or the Ministry as options too.

Laura decided that she would wait for Minnie before knocking on Professor Hadley's door, it was important that Minnie was there, she was glad that she had been able to get Minnie to come because otherwise she would have felt a complete failure, at least now Hadley could help Minnie with some of her problems.

Reaching up and touching short hair, she really needed to charm it longer or just force herself to finish that potion, but finishing that potion scared her to death that Lafay was trying to poison her.

Stopping at the door she looked at Laura, "Maybe this wasn't such a good idea." She started having doubts. What is Hadley wasn't who she thought she was either. Minerva sighed she felt so confused on what to do. She need to just tell herself to suck it up and move on, but she couldn't and shuddered at the images still going through her mind. She should have just suggested they went to the kitchen and got some ice cream, but cringing the thought of ice cream brought back all the images as well. How could she feel sick from and really really want something at the same time.

Taking another breath she knocked on the door.
And there was a knock. "Come in!" Fina called out to whoever awaited, rather enthusiastically. She was prepping for her second lesson, but any disruptions and distractions from planning were more than welcome.

Sophie smiled again, taking the bowl and holding it on her lap.

The fifth year blinked confused at professor Hadley's remark about the ice cream helping her feel better about not knowing what to do with her life. Huh? Sophie had no idea what to think of this. She looked down at the ice cream and stared at it for a few seconds. What? o__O "Um, thank you." ....Okay then...

Several subjects Sophie excelled in? Several? "I'm not sure, professor." The girl started, playing with the spoon and making her ice cream a bit mushy, not really eating any of it for now. Taking exams of subjects she enjoyed would be a benefit... yeah, she agreed with that, though she didn't really love any other subject besides Charms. "I love Charms!" She replied smiling without hesitation. "I enjoy Transfiguration as well, but not as much as Charms." Sophie added, looking at the window while pondering. "Actually, I like anything that has spells involved. Like Defense Against the Dark Arts." Those kinds of spells could be fun too!

The Hufflepuff continued to poke the ice cream with the spoon and looked back at professor Hadley. "I still don't know what kind of career I want to follow, though, professor." And that was a bit frustrating, because both of her parents had always known what they wanted to be, even Mordred had known for many years now, and pretty much all of her friends, she was sure! But she had no clue. "I feel like I should be working towards what I want to be... professionally speaking, I mean. But I have no idea what I want! All I know is that I want it to have a lot of Charms involved." Sophie nodded her head, smiling, but feeling a bit strange. That was for sure an important topic!
Hmm. She loved Charms and Transfiguration and Defense and anything with spells in it. "Well you know, Sophie," She started, stirring her own ice cream absently, as it thawed in her bowl. "If you like spells, one of the most hands-on and prestigious careers out there involving spells is an Auror or Hit Wizard. I think you're a bright witch who if you wanted to go for either of those, you could do it."

"But also, you shouldn't feel pressured or frustrated choosing your career. I didn't know I was going to teach until several years after graduating Hogwarts." She bit her lower lip, contemplating what she was trying to say. "So really, all I'm trying to say is don't feel rushed or anything. Try your best on your exams and if worst comes to worst, there's always Wizarding University after Hogwarts in which you could explore a variety of options. Find your inner passions."

Hopefully that all made sense? Yes?

Asher quietly waited outside her door for an answer...hoping she was in there.
And another knock. Looking up from grading homeworks, she heard a young - familiar voice. "Yes, yes, I am. Come in." Whoever it was?

Knock, Knock, Knock! The Puffer waited patiently for his Head of House to respond.
All Josephina wanted to do was just mope in her office in her swivel chair. She should have finished grading homeworks ages ago, because right now she had no energy to look at them. Before she couldn't sit still long enough, now if she stared at them for one minute, she started to get teary-eyed. And nobody wanted tearstains on their Arithmancy homework.

Nobody wanted to check on her either. Nobody even knew she was up here.

Was that a knock? Was that three knocks? She had no idea. Sniff, sniff.

"W-w-who's t-t-t-th-th-errrreeeee?" The Arithmancy professor choked out, pulling her knees up to her chest in her swivel-backed chair. Were they coming to sack her? More sniffles.
