Uh oh...she seemed ready to cast another spell. He was caught off guard yet again and then he felt his fingers go REALLY numb. Almost like they fell asleep. He couldn't even feel them. Cassia stood watching Kace to see if he'll be able to get rid of the hex. She smiled when he did figure it out and used finite. She would have teared up and all but then that'd be too cheesy and dramatic. Usually, she'd be dramatic all the time but she had rules about not being dramatic in certain places. One of those places being the dueling Arena. Made sense, it was a place to be fierce and all. Dramatic wasn't fierce. Unless you hex someone dramatically.

"Good job," She said with an approving nod. Glancing at her watch, Cassia was about to open her mouth and tell Kace that they had been here for quite a long time and that it was enough. They both got to try several hexes and counters. BUT, she didn't get to say the words.

Who taught the boy this hex. Instinctively, Cassia raised her wand and shouted, "Protego!" PHEW! Had she not blocked it, she would have been on the floor, stiffed!

Oh well, she was ok.

"Wow," was all she managed stifling a laugh. She shook her head amused for some reason and smoothed down her hair then looked back at Kace. "Okay, Mr. Kace," She started a smile tugging at the corners of her mouth, "We've done an extraordinary effort, especially you," Because he was the younger one. "So enough for today," Actually enough for the year.

The fourth year picked up her stuff, slid her bag over her shoulder and motioned to Kace. "Come on," She said as she walked with him towards the exit.
