He took her advice to heart. He cleared his throat and got serious. "You are right Cassia. I will try to be more serious..." even as he said that he broke out of his seriousness and chuckled. But he knew in a real duel he would need to be more alert and on his toes. He was doing well so far for his first time at dueling.
Then she was gonna teach him a new hex?? A one that sticks your feet to the floor?!!? That is sooo cool! He was keen on learning this one. He was listening very intently. Even the way she pronounced was kind of funny. Then she caught him off guard again. He didn't know she was doing the hex. Afterwards he felt his feet stick to the ground. Erghhh...he couldn't move. He moved his feet and nothing happened. "Good work on the hex." he said impressed.
Oh so the counter-curse was Skurge? He could do that. He wanted to move and then he said "Skurge!" and then he could move his feet again. He was gonna try it on her now.
Okay....he needed more concentration on this spell. He even tried to pronounce it. It was "Colloshoo?" he said questioning it. Yup it sounded right. He pointed his wand and did the wand movement incomplete triangle and said "Colloshoo!" and he hoped it worked.
Wasn't this boy cute and cool? Yes he was! It was no secret that Cassia preferred younger people to older ones. She'd always thought that the older..had issues. Except very few, like Kat for instance. And she mostly got along and hung around with people her age or younger. So yes, she was considering the firstie over her one of her friends. People could say whatever they wanted. She laughed as he tried to pull a serious face then failed. The atmosphere was too friendly to be a duel.
The blond grinned seeing him glued to the floor. She had practiced this hex enough times to be able to do it correctly without a problem. She waited to see if he'd be able to preform the counter-curse or if he needed help with that. He seemed fine and did it himself. She was impressed.
Opening her mouth to say yes to his question, Cassia saw the spark shot out of his one as he preformed it on her. Did she say she was impressed? "
Wow, you nailed it," She held up her hand in a thumb-up. She had the wand in her other hand so yeah. Just for good measure, the snake tried yanking her feet off the floor but they were completely stuck she couldn't left them. Then she pointed her wand at her feet and muttered, "

She took a step to the right as a proof then looked up at Kace with a smile. Miss-leading him, psshhht. "

This my friend, is the advanced version of the Jelly fingers curse," She grinned at him. He probably felt his fingers numb and well....jelly-ish?
He could also make it do with finite, she waited to see if he'd figure it out. Or maybe cast it on her with his other hand and she'd finite both of their hands? That could work, too.
