There were so many people that would be after him...if he hurt Alice...

Well, yeah, she could dodge them, but where was the fun in that?

"I can take a Knockback Jinx," she informed him seriously. Was he implying that she was too fragile for it? Because she wasn't, really. Gryffindors did that kind of stuff, and Dylan's best friend was one. Hadn't he grown used to them by now?

This could not be good before Quidditch, how was she supposed to throw with that arm?

Maybe ducking was a good idea.
