And Forrest was laughing BACK at her. He remembered vaguely that Daichi was the guy that had a good laugh over him just at the beginning of the term, and that he should actually dislike the boy and all but LALALA, who cared? He didn't know how the boy became a duck daddy, but it seemed irrelevant too. "He can't take them with him though. Hogwarts can't lose more." Reality kick in. Did Daichi eat ice-cream too?
...he was distracted though and just looked around himself to spot the duck. "No Minerva maybe it's bad for them." Besides, he wanted the ice-cream for themSELVES, see?
Oh football. He grinned foolishly again. "The season starts in August. You definitely have to see a match in August." Nooooood. He even got more serious, because football was serious business.
"Yeah I know the rules and all. I jus' need to see more matches." He paused to think whether there would be more matches or not. He wasn't sure. He wasn't sure who won Quidditch Cup either. Hmm... "But you play well." Y'know, he'd watched HER. Griiiin.
He got another spoon and TEARS of ALL THE GOOD FEELINGS filled his eyes. She wanted to be his friend! No, she considered him as a friend! This was great! He wasn't socially awkward or something after all! Hufflepuff's best student wanted to be his friend. She was older than him too! Hogwarts was indeed full of wonders!
"Of course!" And who cared about stupid iPods and spells when she was his FRIEND and they had ice-cream? Disappointment tried to invade his heart but really, he was far too happy to care about small details now. She would just try it later. "'S fine. Let's eat ice-cream." Hehehe.
Minerva was so excited the Forrest seem to warm up to her. She was afraid this little first year wasn't liking her, which she didn't want, she wanted her little badgers to feel they could come to her whenever they needed or just to hangout and have ice cream. She ate some more herself it was so good.. Yes the yummy goodness.
Looking out at the ducks Minerva chuckled,
"Could you picture Diachi chasing them all trying to collect them to take the ducks home with him." She laughed, totally seeing Diachi collecting his ducks and calling them by name.
"You're right we need them here.. " She giggled again,
"You know Forrest a few terms ago.. Laura and I dressed them up." Remembering putting a few in clothes she laughed again.
She gave him an odd look,
"bad for them? How could something this fabulous be bad for them?" There was no way it could be bad for anyone. It was fantastic.
Season in August.. got it..
"Well Owl me over the summer and we can make plans to meet up for a game. That will be fun to see." She would totally hangout with her newest little badger.
"If you are in the DA this summer we should get more ice cream there.." That would be fun, she was going to go broom shopping with Toby so maybe Forrest could meet up as well.
He wanted to see more matches,
"Well there is one last match this term. Why don't you come and sit with me. Then if you have questions I can help answer them. Maaaaayyyybbbbeee I could take you up on a broom once and teach you part of the game." That would be super fun wouldn't it Forrest? She smiled, not sure if she felt she was great, but the complement was nice just the same.
"Thanks.. I love playing. The injure this term wasn't great, but it comes with the game." Plus her last game was fantastic..
Minerva looked around a bit more for the device. It hopefully was in her room or at least somewhere. Turning to Forrest she smiled,
"Yes.. if I find it later I'll show you, but for now.. let's have more.."
