Pulling out some green ink...because you couldn't write to Slytherins without using GREEN ink...Dylan pulled a fresh sheet of parchment and set to work. Considering he'd already written out the runes he'd need to write, it wasn't going to take that long at all...and really, the real challenge was going to be that piece of wood. LOTS of things needed to be done to it...and he wanted to get started as soon as he could.
Perfectionist Dylan was a perfectionist. That wasn't his fault, though.
He kept at it, though...redipping his quill every now and again...

ALL THE SCRIBBLING.
A few minutes later and the letter was complete...Dylan bent down and blew on it...so the ink would dry and not smudge all over the parchment. He hated when that happened. Bloody nuisance...
He'd be duplicating it, too...So, moving it to the side, he stared down at the wood. Lots of runes to carve...So many...
