Someone else owning the school sounded so silly. Schools, unless private, were governments'. And Hogwarts didn't look very private to him. So the Headmistress sent them away? But that was even more absurd. He didn't want to accuse his own Headmistress. She was the best Headmistress he'd ever had... so, Forrest kept silent, looked thoughtful, and listened to others in general, occasionally looking at the person that was speaking.
