Alice wanted ice cream. Go figure. She always wanted ice cream these days.

Happily jumping down the dormitory steps three at a time, she made her way into the common room, spotting Lex first. Lex! She was big on ice cream, too, right? "Do you want to go grab some ice crea-" .. why was the fire out? And.. the portraits frozen over.. and it was really cold..

"Get out of here," she hissed, grabbing onto Lex's arm and dragging her back to the stairs before the dementors could suck her chaser's face off. "We're going upstairs and not coming down until our souls are safe from those things, okay?" Mostly because Alice couldn't cast a patronus and this wasn't a good idea any time, seeing how those things had affected her at Fright Fest. She proceeded to drag Lex upstairs again, still taking three steps at a time. Too bad ice cream had to wait.
