West.... paused a little and eyed Flammy for a good 10 seconds before jumping back into things.
"Professor Flamsteed it is. Are you READY sir? You LOOK ready. Because WE are ready and..." He looked at the gargoyle.
"Gargoyle, on a count of three, toss a bonbon in Professor Flamsteed's mouth." The gargoyle continued to juggle, apparently not reacting to the command, but that was as it should be.
"1.... 2.... 3!" West counted out, and sure enough, on three, the gargoyle tossed one of the bonbons he'd been juggling right up in the air on a trajectory toward Flamsteed's open mouth.
Without missing a beat, the gargoyle continued juggling the remaining three bonbons.
"Good bonbon, right professor?" West called out with a grin on his face.
