Smiiiirk. Yeah, it was typical for a bloke with Stone's, ahem, physical qualities (midget man) to think that any of this had to deal with luck, but it just wasn't true. Girls LIKED him. They always had 'cause he was nice to look at, charming, generous with the compliments....lots of reasons. No luck. Just charm.

And then Stone got all mopey, which made Ascanius seriously smug. Heh. That was just the most satisfying look he had ever seen, all pathetic and stuff. Pen woulda killed him for thinking this way, but whatever. S'nothing he wasn't upfront about. Essex represent.

"Nope," he smirked popping the final p a bit for emphasis, "I don't do luck." 'Sides, if he did luck that just wouldn't have been fair. The universe had graced him with every other advantage. No need to make the other blokes just feel BAD now, yeah? Yeah, no luck.
