Alexa skipped her way over to the Ancient Runes classroom. She was SO ready for this lesson. After spending so long bonding with a tree and carving runes she felt like she knew everything in the text--which really wasn't true seeing as she couldn't even remember half of what she read but WHATEVER.

"HELLO PROFESSOR!!" She chirped, BEAMing up at him as she found him by the door. "Hope you're well and all that!!--Oh hey, what's that?"

Her attention was now fixed on the neat toys on the desks. She walked to the desk that had her name on it then sat (completely missing the note up by the dais). This looked neat. She poked at it but when nothing happened she rested her head on her desk and tried getting a side look. There was more poking after that.

Did this thing even do anything?

It didn't seem that way. Finally she sat back in her seat and just STARED at it as if she was trying to will it to do something.
