Most everything Dora had said went ignored, because Alice had been busy getting ice cream and stuff. It was even unnecessary to move back to her again, because all of a sudden, the Ravenclaw was clinging and hugging and saying stuff and.. dementors? West and Theo.. and.. what?
Alice stayed glued to the spot, idly allowing Dora to hang onto her as she stood on her toes and tried to see over the mist. What was Penelope saying? Leave? Who was it that hadn't listened to HER at the Prefect Event, hmm? She was staying put. Were they okay, though? Was it.. "Patronuses now. They're safe." Her voice almost came out as a whisper. Ice cream, it would help.
Another spoonful was shoveled into her mouth, and that blissful happy feeling came back. Much better.
Isidora watched Alice and Alexa and proceeded to mutter things about Gryffindors and ice cream. Honestly. Who even thought to bring that out here, of all times? It was - or had been - a quidditch match. No time for ice cream.
She breathed out a sigh of relief that she'd been holding in when they dementors scattered from the pair but didn't let go of Alice because she was STILL eating ice cream.
"For now. How can you even eat right now?" Seriously, how? She ate before the match, her boyfriend had almost got the life sucked out of him, and she was EATING ICE CREAM.
"This is no time for eating ice cream." If there was rain and boyfriends she would make an exception, but there was neither so she gave her friend a hug.
"I'll get you more after."
