COULD PEBBLES SIT WITH YOU? SHE IS A HUGE HUFFLEPUFF SUPPORTER AS WELL." Good Merlin, there went her 'sneak in unnoticed so the snitches don't attack' plan. Blown clear out of the water by Flamsteed. Grr.
"Erm...." Annie had to blink a few times to try to recall who Pebbles was. A kitten, maybe? Well she liked kittens, she guessed... "SUUUUUUURE," the redhead shouted back belatedly. "ANYTHING FOR A HUFFLEPUFF SUPPORTER." Why not. Quote:

Jake was just about to check his watch and see how long the match had before it started when one of the professors shouted something that made him freeze. Truebridge. Headmistress Truebridge. Not being one for reading newspapers or checking up that much on his old school (he'd become somewhat of a recluse over recent years) Jake didn't know who was the head of this school these days. He did, however, recognise the name 'Truebridge', though was pretty sure the Truebridge he knew wasn't likely to be... Headmistress.
Quickly spinning round in his seat, mostly out of curiosity but also on the off-chance that he might be able to see the Professor Truebridge he knew, Jake got a bit of a shock.
There, sitting right there, was... Bunz. Bunbury. Professor I-Hate-Upstead. A few years ago Jake might have gotten a fright at that surprise, but this time he just... stared. In shock.
And then he veeeeery gradually smiled. Not too widely because that woman was VOLATILE and would no doubt assume he was up to something. And then he held up his hand in a tentative wave/gesture of acknowledgement.
This was weird.
But he came for the memories and
here
they
were. Of course Flamsteed WOULD attract the attention of the one person she'd been hoping would NOT notice her. OF COURSE. The redhead ground her teeth to herself and stared right back at Jake, grown up Jake. Even if he was a little older looking... she hadn't forgotten him. Not. At. All.
The woman raised an eyebrow upon seeing his up to something smile and casual wave... and slowly raised her hand in reply. There. A wave. She could go home and tell Ethan she had been civil with him now. Quote:

"Good day," she replied to the girl with a soft smile. Cassia was supporting Slytherin, no doubt.... good for her, she wouldn't be sitting by Bunz or trying to yank on her hair today!
