After gathering his cauldron and ingredients, Asher made his way over to the spot next to Daichi. He felt incredibly small next to the seventh year. "Hi Daichi" he said as he sat his cauldron down "I'm Asher."

Daichi's gaze followed the little first? second? year as he passed the working station where Dylan was and even said an hello to him. He wrinkled his nose but didn't say anything.

He waited for Asher to start over the first steps and raised an eyebrow when he added the marshmallows. Didn't he knew that chocolate was far better?
Ah! so that was why Professor Lafay decided to vanish Asher's potion earlier. He had mixed up the ingredients. The Slytherin did not know the reason at first why the kid needed help but now that he did he knew what to do.
Make sure he was focused on the potion and not make any mistakes...HE COULD DO THIS!
"Yes" the Prefect nodded his head when the Hufflepuff told him his own mistake. At least he knew what he did wrong right?

His back to the Captain , Daichi's cheeks blushing with embarrassment. He flicked his wrist and his wand fell out of its wrist holster. He wasn't pointing it at Dylan though, just held it by his side as he closed his eyes for a moment.
"Don't curse him, don't curse him, don't curse him" he muttered under his breath and then counted to 1..2...
"Don't curse him" ...3...4..5..
"He's not worth it" 6...7..8..9..10. Taking in a deep breath, Daichi tried to ignore Dylan and turned his attention to the Professor and Asher.

He was very happy to have the next steps of instructions so that he could focus on making the potion. Grabbing his gloves, he put them on and then motioned for Asher to do the same.
Alright, seven blades of fluxweed. The Slytherin searched for it on the table and when he found them at the edge he leaned forward to grab them. He counted them until he had 14 blades. He then shoved seven pieces of fluxweed to the Hufflepuff kid so that he could use the rest.
Adding in 2 spoonfulls of poppyseeds, the Slytherin turned to Asher as he folded his arms in an 'now you' way.
