But there were some truly awful flavors in this box, so when he picked up the speckled white bean, he only took a nibble out of it at first. Not the best idea, though, there wasn't much to taste out of such a small amount. So he popped the whole thing in.
And a smile spread across his face. "Sugar cookie." It was NICE. He was going to savor this one.
Meanwhile..."Brown," he pointed. That was for her.
That was a very good question.
"Easy. Got one stuffed in my mouth when I got into a fight with this kid from my old Primary School. I decked him after that, got sent to the Principal but it was worth it 'cause he got sent to the nurse." Of course, if she was being honest...this bean probably tasted better than his sock...
If she ever ran into him again she'd have to let him know, probably let him taste it too.
But more importantly, he was trying another--whaaaaaaaaaaat?

She got a flippin' dirty sock and he got a bloody
sugar cookie?? She was DONE with these things. Absolutely done! They were biased! This was the Gryffie table, if they wanted to pick a side, shouldn't they have picked
hers??? Lex looked at Aidan, then at the brown bean. If this was mud she was spitting it out and going to find better candy elsewhere.
A little hesitant, she reached for the bean and popped it in her mouth...

"CHOCOLATE!!! Dude, you're the best!" She happily chewed away at the bean, forgetting all the bad flavours before it. After scribbling it down she began picking out the other brown ones. This was a good day.
"Here." She said, offering him one.
