Now time to wrap up. "Thank you Mr. Montmorency, Ms. Cambridge..." she said to the last pair of volunteers. "With that, I think it's well past time for you all to be dismissed. Once again, I'm terribly sorry Mr. Mackenzie couldn't join us today, but I am pleased with the progress we've made and everything we've learned today. Do NOT forget what to do in a crisis now, you all have no excuses to NOT follow AUROR."
She gave the seminar class a warning LOOK at large. "If there are no further questions, you are dismissed! Thank you all for attending."
ooc: no homework or anything but I might give out points to all who played along =) thanks for coming, guys! eek! <3
It was done? West had spent the last portion of the seminar, the part demonstrating spells he knew already, thinking to himself. The fourth year hesitated for a bit before gathering his stuff, eyes continually flicking up to the professors and in particular to the Headmistress.
... hmmgmmmhffmmm......
He sorta went over there and hovered a bit. This tall, lanky fifteen year old had words to say.
"Um... Professors? Headmistress? I'm... sorry I wasn't more open minded when this... seminar thingy began. I was just real disappointed on account of Colin Mackenzie not coming." And indeed West did still look entirely crestfallen about it.
"I should've tried to be more accepting and understanding and... mature about it and stuff." West had just had a bit of a... moment of clarity about it. So. Words.
"Sorry and thank you all for... giving up your time and everything so that we had something interesting to do."
He shifted from foot to foot and then stilled himself, looking at the adults... some of whom he was actually taller than now.
Blink. Weird.
